New to Core Strength? Start here.
You don’t have to know which class to take—or which instructor is right for you—to get started.
At Core Strength Wichita, we take the time to get to know you, your goals, your movement history, and what you’re looking for from Pilates. We’ll help you find the right place to begin and guide you toward the type of Pilates experience that fits you best.
Your First Steps
Getting started at Core Strength is simple. We’ll guide you through the process and help you find the Pilates experience that’s right for you.
01 — Request Information
Fill out our Request for Information form, or give us a call and leave a voicemail. One of our instructors will reach out to schedule your free consultation.
02 — Meet With an Instructor
Come in for a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We’ll talk about your goals and movement history, answer your questions, and introduce you to some basic Pilates movement and equipment.
03 — Find Your Best Starting Point
We’ll use what we learn about you—and how you move—to recommend the best place to begin and help match you with the right instructor.
04 — Begin Your Introduction
Start with either our 3 Private Lessons or 5 Group Class introductory option. Your instructor will recommend which option is the best fit for you.
Introductory Options
Both introductory options are available to new clients. After your consultation, your instructor will recommend the best place for you to begin based on your goals, experience, and individual needs.
3 Private Lessons $150
Work one-on-one with an instructor to build a strong foundation, become comfortable with the Pilates equipment, and receive individualized instruction.
5 Group Classes $150
Experience our small-group Pilates classes while becoming familiar with the equipment, movements, and Core Strength approach.
Starting with private lessons? You can still take advantage of the 5-class introductory package afterward if group classes are the right next step for you.
What Happens After Your Intro?
Your introductory sessions are just the beginning. As you get to know Pilates—and we get to know you—your instructor will help you determine the best way to continue.
Depending on your goals, preferences, and schedule, that might include small-group classes, private lessons, duet or semi-private sessions, or a combination that works for you.
If recurring bookings are the right fit, we’ll also help you find a consistent time and instructor so Pilates can become a regular part of your routine.
Preparing for Your First Visit
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear comfortable clothing that you feel good moving in. Grippy socks are required for Pilates. If you don’t have a pair, we have some available to borrow.
WHAT TO BRING
You don’t need to bring any special equipment. Bring yourself, your questions, and anything you’d like your instructor to know about your goals or movement history.
Finding Core Strength
We’re located at 7732 E. Central Ave., Suite 118, Wichita, KS 67206.
Google Maps and Apple Maps should bring you directly to us. Once you arrive, look for us on the northeast corner of the building. Our entrance has two large black doors with circular windows. We don’t have a large exterior sign, so those doors are the easiest way to spot us.
New to Pilates? You’re in the Right Place.
Many of our clients come to Core Strength with little or no previous Pilates experience. You don’t need to know the exercises, understand the equipment, or figure out which class is right for you before you arrive.
That’s what our consultation process is for. We’ll meet you where you are, help you understand your options, and guide you toward the right next step.
