Class Descriptions


Pilates Mat Class
Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength, stamina, and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Pilates Mat is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day movements. The instructor presents the exercises at multiple levels which allows students to choose to work at a beginning, intermediate, or advanced pace. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core.   All Levels WELCOME!  Reservation Required.

Mei's Reformer  Class
The Reformer is a spring-loaded, resistance-training apparatus that allows for full range of motion with a smooth gliding carriage. You will strengthen and stretch your entire body, and develop improved balance, muscle tone and alignment, body awareness, and ease of motion. Mei will expertly teach with a mind/body connection focus. You will leave Mei's Reformer Class feeling spacious and comfortable in your joints, and refreshed and energized in every cell of our being! 

Jump Pilates
Using the jump board on the Reformer, Jump Pilates is comparable to lying down and jumping on a trampoline; it allows for jumping without overloading the joints.  LOVE Jump Pilates because it's FUN! Your legs and core will definitely feel it! A great way to JUMP start your week. (Intermediate)

Pilates Circuit
Challenging and fast-paced, Pilates Circuit uses any combination of the following Pilates equipment: Reformer, Jump Board, Chair, Tower, Bosu, Barrels, Oov, and small props.  Looking for a little 'extra' out of Pilates class? This class is for you! (Intermediate)

Sunrise Pilates
Prepare your body and mind for the day ahead. Class starts with stretching then seamlessly moves to a vigorous full body work out, emphasizing abdominal connection, breathing, and postural alignment. You will leave feeling more connected and a little bit taller to take on the day! (All levels)

Pilates Classic
This is the quintessential class. A full body flowing workout that delves deeply into the balance of stretching and strengthening the body. The abdominals and trunk are challenged in every movement while concentrating on control, precision and breath. (All Levels)

Cardio & Core Pilates
Using the Reformer, Chair, and the Oov; you will feel your core and get your heart rate up.  Your whole body will move and sweat. It is an intense workout that will challenge you. (Intermediate)

Restorative Pilates
Restorative Pilates is perfect for newbies or those with years of experience. This class  focuses on strength, stretching, and balance. Movements are mindful to aid in deepening body awareness, increasing stability, perfecting form, and aiding with relaxation. (All levels)

Strength & Balance
Silver Sneakers Strength and Balance is a low-impact class designed to improve flexibility and balance while increasing muscular endurance. Strength exercise may include lifting hand-held weights, stretching resistive tubing, and using your body’s own resistance while also using your core muscles to improve balance and stability. Class is for all ages. (All levels)
